REBOUND is an inter-territorial project supported by the EU through ERASMUS+. It pursues an action-research approach to promoting rural community resilience. LDnet experts participate in the project and its first report on the State of the Art and Practices of Rural Community Resilience has alredy been published. An update on the progress of the REBOUND project is provided in its latest newsletter.
The REBOUND partners are now offering places on a 12-week Level 6 training and capacity-building programme on Rural Community Resilience. This training is targeted at people actively working in or supporting rural communities, who already have some experience in rural development or community work.The course will be taking place from 11th September to 15th December. Participation is free of charge.
The training will have two modules: the first module will focus mainly on theoretical concepts, good practices and the necessary skills for the development of resilient communities; the second module will be more oriented towards the applicability of the theoretical foundations in the specific context of each of the participants. It will be particularly relevant to all those interested in certifying their experience as a local agent promoting rural resilience in your territory.
