REBOUND is an inter-territorial project supported by the EU through ERASMUS+. It pursues an action-research approach to promoting rural community resilience. LDnet experts participate in the project and its first report on the State of the Art and Practices of Rural Community Resilience has alredy been published. An update on the progress of the REBOUND project is provided in its latest newsletter.
The REBOUND partners have offered places free of charge on a 12-week Level 6 training and capacity-building programme on Rural Community Resilience. This training is targeted at people actively working in or supporting rural communities, who already have some experience in rural development or community work.The course is taking place from 11 September to 15 December 2023.
The project has also organised on 8 November 2023 a one-day ‘teaser’ course which included three sessions with extensive interactive components based on mentimeter feedback from participants:
- Session 1: Key concepts and models of rural resilience
- Session 2: Tools and practices to foster rural resilience
- Session 3: Case studies and reflection
The main training course has two modules: the first module focuses mainly on theoretical concepts, good practices and the necessary skills for the development of resilient communities; the second module is oriented towards the applicability of the theoretical foundations in the specific context of each of the participants.
