Following on from our general assembly, we are going ahead with a number of new initiatives.
We are planning a workshop on Social innovation and local development: linking urban and rural approaches. It will take place in 20 February 2020 in Brussels, on the conclusion of the SIMRA conference. Peter Ramsden will lead from the urban and Robert Lukesch from the rural perspective.
We are piloting a series of snapshots of the State of play in local development in different EU countries, looking into the actual implementation of CLLD and multi-fund approaches, as well as key points in current debates in different Member States. Urszula Budzich-Tabor, Loris Servillo, Stefan Kah and Jean-Pierre Pellegrin are leading on this work, and we expect to complete the pilot phase in February 2020.
And we started preparations for a special session at the Annual Conference of the RSA (17-20.6.2020 in Ljubljana) on linking research with practice … and much more.
Contributions on the above and on any of the other initiatives explored at our general assembly are most welcome.
