The Interreg Annual Event 2020 was organised on 15-16 October in a digital format. The aim of the event was to review implementation of the Interreg Programme, share practice and experience between managing authorities and celebrate 30 years of Interreg.
Among the parallel workshops on 16 October there was one focusing on “Territorial Europe”, in line with Policy Objective 5 of the 2021-2027 funding period: “Europe closer to citizens”.
The aim of this workshop was to show Interreg managing authorities the potential of instruments such as Integrated Territorial Investment (ITI) and Community-Led Local Development (CLLD). LDnet president Urszula Budzich-Tabor was invited to this workshop to present the key principles and characteristics of CLLD as well as some project examples funded by EMFF and EAFRD.
