The Rural toolkit is an initiative of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) and Joint Research Centre (JRC), in collaboration with the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI). It is the first comprehensive online guide to EU funding and support opportunities for rural areas in the European Union. It will be launched on Tuesday 6 February 2024, 10:30 – 12:00 (CET) at an event that will be held online.
During the launch event, a presentation and live demo of the tool will be delivered. It will be an opportunity to gain insight into how EU programmes can foster development in rural territories, by supporting the initiatives of local authorities, institutions, businesses and individuals. Best practices and inspiring stories will also be showcased.
