Timur Kogabayev is a researcher, lecturer, and PhD candidate in Innovation Management at the Estonian University of Life Sciences. His work focuses on sustainable development, international academic cooperation, and innovation. He previously served as a visiting lecturer at the University of Tartu’s School of Economics and Business Administration, teaching courses in management, sustainability economics and entrepreneurship. Currently, he is a lecturer at Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia) and Teaching Professor at Maqsut Narikbayev University (Kazakhstan, Astana).
Timur actively coordinates Erasmus+ projects linking EU institutions with partners in Central Asia, emphasizing themes such as sustainable tourism, the blue and green economy, and natural park development. He is also involved in establishing interdisciplinary research centers in Kazakhstan, inspired by EU projects like BlueRev and BalticBiomass4Value. His research and teaching align closely with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and promote transnational collaboration, applied learning, and policy integration.
