Pietro L. Verga is an urban researcher and advisor with a focus on the development and regeneration of cities and neighbourhoods. His main fields of expertise include the analysis of the socio-economic features and development trends of urban systems; the analysis and design of urban policies; and the design and assessment of local development strategies and initiatives. He is also an expert on the Community-Led Local Development and other EU Cohesion Policy’s instruments.
Current work includes nature-based regeneration approaches, participatory planning, and circular ecosystems.
Based in Milan, Berlin and Bucharest, Pietro L. Verga develops research and provides advisory services across Europe.
