CENTRINNO’s Focus Group series: the Fab City Hubs workshop

The grand finale of the CENTRINNO project’s Focus Group series, the Fab City Hubs workshop took place online on 23 November 2023. Over the past months, the focus groups engaged in insightful discussions on key topics such as Social Inclusion, Circularity, and Vocational Training. This last Focus Group on Fab City Hubs encapsulated the essence of this network’s mission and offered a great opportunity to deep dive into innovative approaches and hear on open spaces for city making.

Participants’ expertise and perspective contributed to the success of this final workshop. As the project team explores the potential of Fab City Hubs, participants’ insights become crucial in shaping the discourse and opening new avenues for collaboration. The programme of the event is presented below.

Initial feedback from the organisers is summarised below. The project will be releasing the takeaway messages on its website in the near future.

The Grand Finale of CENTRINNO’s Focus Group Workshops Series on “Fab City Hubs” was a resounding success! With nearly 90 registrants and peaks of over 60 participants actively involved, it was an enriching session indeed. Our speakers did an incredible job presenting the concept of Fab City Hubs, showcasing the innovative Fab City Hubs Toolkit developed within CENTRINNO EU Project and illustrating how this concept has been translated into operational realities. Representatives from all nine CENTRINNO pilots shared invaluable insights from their local experiences, adding depth and richness to the discussions. Stay tuned for the release of the workshop video and key takeaway messages in the coming days. There’s a wealth of knowledge and practical insights to look forward to!  A huge thanks to our speakers, participants, and the dedicated CENTRINNO pilots for their remarkable contributions. Your collective efforts are shaping the future of European Cities, bringing innovation and sustainability to the forefront!
