The LEDA Local Employment Development Action programme was an EU funded action learning programme in the 1980s. Started in 1984 and involving about 20 areas it had a focus on local employment actions with the idea of finding out what worked at local level. It was linked to the ERGO programme which focused on identifying successful approaches to combatting long term unemployment and young people.
After the end of the programme some participants continued under the LEDA partenariat.
