In light of the current COVID19 pandemic, the RSA is collating multi-disciplinary resources and evidence on how regions, cities and industry are dealing with the impact of the COVID19.
The aim is to populate the page at www.regionalstudies.org/about/pandemics-cities-regions-industry/ with evidence from around the world. The RSA is particularly looking for:
- Ongoing research on pandemics, including COVID-19 in the context of regions, cities and industry
- Publications on pandemic and national epidemics in the context of regions, cities and industry
- Research ideas about regional responses to the current crises
Anyone interested can get in touch with the RSA at firstname.lastname@example.org if they can add to the webpage or know of someone who the RSA could reach out to on this.
In addition, the RSA Board is also making funding available for Research Networks (£10k per network) on this topic including but not limited to resilience, health and economics. More details on RSA Research Network funding is available at www.regionalstudies.org/funding/research-network-grant-scheme/
The RSA also set up a Pandemics, Cities, Regions and Industry LinkedIn Group for interested researchers and practitioners to join.
